Rep. Darlene Taylor has always had an unparalleled community spirit and a heart for public service. In January 2011, Representative Darlene Taylor was sworn into office and began serving as the House District 173 Representative in the Georgia General Assembly. Her District comprises most of Grady and Thomas Counties. Rep. Darlene Taylor is a remarkable lady, wife to John, a mother to two accomplished adult sons, and grandmother in addition to being both a seasoned Legislator and C.E.O. of a TPA she founded. Darlene is known at the Capitol and local for her graciousness however, when the situation calls for it, - she is a fierce but fair legislator. Darlene is well known for her advocacy for all rural South Georgia, and especially for her constituents.
