Megan Jones was sworn into the Iowa House of Representatives in January of 2013.
After graduating from Spencer High School, Megan attended Drake University. There she received earned a degree with a major in Law, Politics and Society (LPS). Megan went on to graduate from William Mitchell College of Law. She was later admitted to practice in the State of Iowa.
In August of 2014, Megan married Will Jones of Sioux Rapids. Together they live on Will's family farm in Southern Clay County with their four children.
Megan loves to volunteer in her community. She is active in the Kiwanis Daybreakers group and serves on the Keep Iowa Beautiful Board. She is a past recipient of the Spencer Volunteer of the Year Award and was by the Governor and legislature for her volunteer activities. |
