| I'm so proud to represent our district here in North Iowa. Many of the people I meet are proud of their jobs and the lives they've created. Time spent with family, friends grandkids and their pets means the world to everyone and that's the community that my family and I have grown to love!
As a retired 22 year veteran of the Air Force, I love and cherish our country and everything it stands for. So many men and women have come before me and have protected our rights and I don't plan on letting them down. Our Constitution is the greatest man-made document ever produced! It's timeless and rock-solid. I will never give up defending it and those it protects.
As a longtime high school and college football coach, I understand the importance of a quality education as well as continuing on to higher education once you graduate high school. I have been brought to tears by many parents who watch their sons walk across the stage with their college diploma and tell me that they're the first in the family to get a college degree. Those are humbling moments that I carry with me always. A quality education, no matter the age or grade, should not be denied from a child.
While I continue to represent our district, I make a solemn promise to always listen and be available to everyone. I will always fight for our rights and freedoms and vow to work hard to do right by everyone in my district and around Iowa. As a servant of the people, I owe it to each and every resident of Iowa to remain humble and approachable. |
