Jerome Amos Jr. graduated from Waterloo East in 1972, and attended Upper Iowa University in Fayette. He worked for Waterloo Industries and John Deere Tractor Works before retiring.
Jerome has served the Waterloo community as a member of the following boards and commissions- Iowa Workforce Development Board; Iowa Energy Sector Partnership; UAW Local 838 Civil and Human Rights Committee; Waterloo Commission on Human Rights; Blackhawk County Sanitation Allocation; Citizens Advisory Council.
Jerome currently works as an Adjunct Instructor in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) at Hawkeye Community College.
He is married to Tina Harmon-Amos and they have 7 adult children. |
