Born and raised in Oak Lawn, Rick graduated from St. Germaine grade school and Brother Rice High School. Rick and his wife, Maureen, a life-long resident of Evergreen Park, reside in Most Holy Redeemer parish and have lived in Evergreen Park for over thirty years. Their three sons, Jack, Sean, and Joey are graduates of Evergreen Park High School. Both Rick and Maureen come from working class, union families. Rick's father was a member of Operating Engineers Local 150 and Maureen's father was a member of Plumbers Local 130. And, both Rick and Maureen were union concrete laborers earlier in their careers.
Rick was on the Dean's list at DePaul University and graduated in 1989 and graduated from John Marshall Law School in 1992. Rick has been an attorney for over thirty years and served as an officer of the Southwest Bar Association. He has assisted thousands of clients in the region with a variety of legal issues from his office located in Oak Lawn.
Passionate about public service since his college days, Rick has volunteered his time and efforts to assist numerous candidates. Additionally, Rick has been very involved in coaching and mentoring neighborhood youth. Rick is the former president of the Evergreen Park Baseball League, former president, Evergreen Park Booster Club, and head coach of a youth state championship baseball team. |
