Ventura was born and raised in Joliet. She graduated from Benedictine University with a B.S. in Mathematics and later with an A.S. in Biology from Tidewater Community College. Former actuary, naturalist, pet nurse, substitute teacher and business director. She served from 2018-2022 on the Will County Board and was the Vice President of the Forest Preserve District of Will County. She serves as a full-time legislator. She is a member of NCSL and appointed to the Human Trafficking Task Force, Public Financing of Judicial Elections Task Force, Warehouse Safety Standards Task Force, and The Council of State Governments National Intergovernmental Affairs Committee. She is a proud mother to twin daughters. |
