State Rep. Mike Hoadley was first elected in November of 2022. He is in his first term serving the 99th House District, which encompasses Arenac, Iosco and Ogemaw counties, as well as portions of Bay, Clare and Gladwin counties.
Committees
Mike serves as a member of the House Tax Policy Committee and the House Behavioral Health Appropriations Subcommittee.
Education
Mike graduated from Au Gres High School in 1998 and studied at Delta College.
Professional
Mike worked as a customer relations manager for Darton Archery from 1996-2005 and was the owner of Hunters Niche Inc., an archery supplies business, from 2003-21.
He was first elected to the Au Gres City Council in 2017 and was re-elected in 2020. He served as the mayor of Au Gres from 2020 until being elected to the state House.
Mike was involved in a variety of other local boards and commissions while serving his community, including the City Planning Commission and Tax Increment Finance Authority Board. He also chaired the Arenac County Planning Commission and served on the Arenac County Soldiers and Sailors Board.
Personal
Mike is a U.S. Army veteran, having served from 1990-94. He has been married to his wife, Mary, for 26 years. They have two children. |
