Rep. Neil Friske was first elected to the Michigan House of Representatives in November 2022. He represents the 107th House District. Located in Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, the district includes all of Charlevoix and Emmet counties and portions of Cheboygan, Chippewa, and Mackinac counties.
Community Involvement
Neil loves to volunteer and serve in his community. When his sons were young, he coached their youth baseball and basketball teams, and he has coached other community sports teams, too. He frequently serves in the local church where he worships. Neil is a member of the Farm Bureau, Michigan United Conservation Clubs, Right to Life, and National Rifle Association.
Professional
From a young age, Neil helped out on the farm, and he graduated from Ellsworth High School. As adults, he and his brother took over Friske Orchards. Neil later started a new venture, becoming the owner of Friske & Sons Property Management.
Personal
A lifelong resident of Northern Michigan, Neil was born in Petoskey and raised near Charlevoix on the family farm, Friske Orchards. He has four sons and five grandchildren, and he enjoys spending time with his family. Neil lives in Charlevoix County. |
