Elliott Engen lives in Lino Lakes with his wife, Faith, and his son, Everett. He is a husband, father, and sixth-generation Minnesotan and he has occupational experience in the legal field and NGO coordination in the interests of school safety as well as outdoor conservation. Faith is a local small business owner and published author.
Elliott was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2022, becoming the first Gen Z elected official in the state.
He was born and raised in White Bear Lake and attended WBL High School, where he would meet his wife.
At Hamline University, Engen earned his B.A. in Legal Studies and Political Science with an emphasis on International Relations. He was a member of the collegiate baseball team, earning awards for success on the field and in the classroom. When he wasn't on the baseball diamond, Engen led a group that discussed public policy. There, he invited individuals of all political ideologies to participate in the discussion- knowing that while we differ, we all should have the ability to speak on our beliefs and challenge ideas with civility.
While most politicians focus on noise and engage in petty political drama, Engen has proven that his sole focus is delivering results for the voters he works for.
As your State Representative, Engen has been a bold, principled leader who brings sanity to state government and has the solutions needed to reverse our decline and revive the American Dream. |
