| When I retired from my career in law enforcement a couple of years ago, I was ready for a new journey in my life. Since my retirement, I've been serving on the Lakeville Planning Commission and am the President of Minnesota Thunder Academy.
For 27 years I served the people of Dakota County as a police officer in our neighboring Burnsville. I know how important safe communities are to families in our area, and will bring that real-world experience to the Capitol.
I am running for the Minnesota House of Representatives in District 57B. This is an important call of duty. With such division in our country, politics is tough these days, and that scares a lot of people away. I am not a politician. I am a husband, father and friend. We have so many challenges facing our community, from public safety to a parent's role in their children's education, to major tax cuts. In so many ways, our values and quality of life are being threatened, and we need to fight back to protect it. This is why I am running for Minnesota House.
