Representative Sean Pouche, a Republican, represents part of Buchanan and Platte counties (District 13) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2020.
Pouche grew up in Platte County and attended Rockhurst High School in Kansas City. He received a congressional appointment to the US. Merchant Marine Academy (Kings Point) New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree and commission in the U.S. Navy Reserve. In 2010, Pouche was mobilized to Iraq where he served as advisor to U.S. and NATO commanders in Baghdad.
In addition to his legislative duties, Pouche works in the family business (Platte Rental & Supply, Parkville) and is a commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
Pouche is a member of St. Therese Catholic Parish-Parkville, Knights of Columbus, and the American Legion. He has two children; Joclyn and Will. |
