Representative David Evans, a Republican, represents Howell County (District 154) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2018.
In addition to his legislative duties, Evans manages property in his hometown of West Plains. He served as a judge from 1990 - 2018 after obtaining his undergraduate degrees and Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
Evans is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, First United Methodist Church and serves as a Boy Scout leader. He has been a lifelong child and family advocate. He received the President's Voluntary Service Award, the Missouri Bar Pro Bono Award, the Boy Scouts of America District Award of Merit and Council Silver Beaver Award. Evans also served as president of the Missouri Municipal and Associate Circuit Judge's Association.
Evans lives in West Plains with his wife, Sandy. They have four children. |
