As a small business owner, I have had many opportunities to learn on the job, meet incredible people and fine tune my communication skills with the public. Working as a Director of a non-profit has been a great opportunity to drill down on important social issues such as human trafficking, suicide, substance abuse prevention, and race relations. Through all these, working to find solutions, opportunities for success, promoting forums and other forms of problem solving has strengthened the Billings community. As a public servant I have come to sincerely and respectfully understand what the role of service is to my community, neighborhood, Ward, city and state.
I termed out of City Council in Dec. 2021, after having the honor to serve for the max two term limit. |
