| Nels lives in Grand Forks with his wife Kristin and their three children- Hans, Sofia, and Elin. As a homeschool family, the Christiansons enjoy teaching their children about the magnificence of God's world and the history of our Republic. Nels is a fourth-generation railroader, serving as a supervisor in the Engineering Department of a major railroad company. The family keeps two quarterhorses and several beehives.
