Warrey was appointed to the current seat vacated by Secretary of State Michael Howe in November of 2022, and served his first session in the 68th ND Legislature in 2023. Warrey served as a member of the Industry Business and Labor and Political Subdivision committees in the recent full session. During the interim, Warrey serves on the Workforce committee, the Information Technology Committee, and as a member of the Legacy and Budget Stabilization Fund Advisory Board. Representative Warrey co-sponsored legislation in his first term to support rural fire departments, to expand career exploration opportunities for K-12 students, and military leave for public sector employees.
Warrey graduated from Central Cass in Casselton, ND, and earned a bachelor of science in Marketing from the University of North Dakota. He has been at Marco Technologies for 27 years, serving on the leadership team in a variety of roles including VP of Sales, and Chief Operating Officer as the company has expanded to 45 offices across 14 states. Warrey is the past president of the Casselton Park District, a member of the Casselton Economic Development Committee, and past Board Chair of the Jeremiah Program in Fargo. He has been married to Amy for 25 years and they have two adult children, Grace and Owen. |
