I have been a long-time North Dakota resident that has spent most of my life advocating for equality. As a social worker, I am guided by the belief that everyone deserves a roof over their head, a job to support themselves, and help when it is needed. My years spent fighting stigma and discrimination against individuals living with HIV have taught me that all people deserve respect and kindness.
Growing up in a small town I learned the value of helping others. Whenever a neighbor needed a push out of the snowbank, a ladder to clean the gutters, or someone to remove a tree a neighbor was always there to help. These values are what have guided me to run for State Senate. |
