Arrow K Farms
Owned by Greg and Stacey Kessel, Arrow K Farms is a family operated business just outside of Belfield, North Dakota. Greg has nearly 40 years of experience, who began farming in 1980. Since then, Arrow K Farms has evolved into a thriving local seed business.
In 1996, Greg and Stacey purchased a portable seed conditioner, and operated it under the name Missouri West Seed Conditioning.
Greg and Stacey partnered with Two Track Malting, a craft malting facility in Lincoln, ND. and in 2018 had the opportunity to become a part of a growing business.
President, North Dakota Barley Council
He has been a Stark County representative and President on the North Dakota Barley Council.
Greg and Stacy married in 1989 and a couple years later, Greg turned to farming full time after also having worked in the oil industry.
The couple has four children, Jade, 14 Grant, 12, Garett 7, and Griffin, 4, but doesn't expect them to take over the family operation unless they are interested.
In 1996, the seed business flourished into seed conditioning called Missouri West. A year later, the couple decided to change over to no-till farming. |
