| I have the honor and privilege to serve the people of District 100 in the South Carolina House of Representatives. Giving back to my community has always been important to me. After retiring in 2014 from a career in technical and management positions with an electric utility business, I decided to run for office. I was ready to serve, full-time, the people of Berkeley County and the state of South Carolina.
In 2016, following a mid-term Special Election, I began serving as a member of the House of Representatives. I am a common sense conservative Republican. I believe that honesty, integrity, solid business know-how, and the ability to bring people together are the keys to getting things done and preserving the freedoms and quality of life that we as Americans value.
My areas of focus include-
Ensuring continued job and economic growth;
Improving the quality of public education;
Expanding healthcare choice;
Addressing transportation and infrastructure needs;
Providing support for active and retired military, law enforcement, and emergency personnel to ensure the safety and security of our nation;
Protecting South Carolina's rich natural resources and historic sites. |
