Bo Mitchell represents the people of District 50 in the Tennessee House of Representatives. He began serving the citizens of Bellevue, Charlotte Park, Goodlettsville, Joelton, White's Creek, Scottsboro, and the rest of western Davidson County following his election in 2012. He is a leading voice for strong public school, affordable healthcare, gun safety, and the protecting the democratic process.
Prior to his election, Bo established a lengthy record of deep involvement in the community. He also owns a small business that assists other businesses in providing benefits to their employees.
Bo and his wife, Chastity, along with their sons Parker (18) and Brady (16), live in Bellevue. Bo graduated from David Lipscomb University in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in political science. He earned his law degree from Nashville School of Law in 2003. The Mitchells attend Crosspoint Church in Bellevue.
Bo is a native of middle Tennessee and a member of the Bellevue Harpeth Chamber of Commerce, Goodlettsville Chamber of Commerce, Joelton Civitan Club, Harpeth River Watershed Association, Bellevue Family YMCA & FiftyForward J.L. Turner Center, Tennessee Conservation Voters, and Tennessee Farm Bureau. |
