| I graduated from Timpview High School in Provo Utah. I proudly got my associates degree from Dixie College in St. George Utah. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints.
I have been involved in PTA's of all of my children's schools and was PTA president one year. I spent 7 years on 2 different school community councils helping decide where trust land funds would be best utilized in our schools. I spent 12 years/21 seasons as a boys and girls tennis coach at the local high school.
I have been a nurse since 1999, and have worked here in Ogden as a nurse at Ogden Regional since 2011. I was a stay at home mom, a PTA president, 7 year community council member, and coached high school tennis for Bonneville high boys and girls for 12 years. My well rounded life and work experience is exactly the kind of voice needed in Utah's legislature.
I am a devoted wife of 30 years to an amazing husband who is a physician and who also serves in the U.S Navy reserves. We have 4 boys, 3 daughters in law, and one grandson. One of my sons also serves in the U.S. Air Force active duty. We have lived in South Ogden Utah for the past 18 years and this is our home. |
