Senator Blouin represents District 13 in the Utah State Senate, covering parts of Sugar House,
Millcreek, Murray, West Valley City, and South Salt Lake. He earned a Bachelor's from the
University of Utah and a Master of Public Affairs from Brown University. As a strong advocate
for environmental and sustainability initiatives, he focuses on clean energy, the Great Salt Lake,
affordable housing, and air quality. He serves on the Senate Natural Resources, Agriculture, and
Environment Committee, the related Appropriations Subcommittee, the Business and Labor
Committee, and the Public Utilities, Energy, and Technology Interim Committee. In the 2023
General Session, he sponsored legislation to restore the Great Salt Lake and incentivize
commercial energy storage. Outside of the legislature, you can often find him in the Wasatch
canyons on foot, skis, or bike. |
