Barry Crago was raised on the family ranch in Belle Fourche, South Dakota where he developed a love of ranching and the value of hard work. In 1999, he earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural business from the University of Wyoming. Barry spent a semester in Washington, D.C. as an intern for the United States Senator Craig Thomas before returning to Wyoming to pursue a law degree. He received his Juris Doctor in 2004 from the University of Wyoming College of Law.
In 2004-2005, Barry served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Clarence Brimmer of the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming. Currently, Barry has a very diverse work schedule. He serves as Deputy County Attorney in Johnson County, Wyoming, is a partner in Crago Law Offices, and manages the Willow Creek Ranch outside of Kaycee, Wyoming. Barry is currently serving as a Republican legislator for House District 40, which covers Johnson and Sheridan counties in Wyoming. Barry and his wife Kristen have two daughters - Lily and Caroline. |
