Rep. Monte Hodges is serving his fourth term in the Arkansas House. He represents District 55 which includes portions of Crittenden and Mississippi Counties. For the 92nd General Assembly, Rep. Hodges serves as vice-chair of the Peer Review Subcommittee for the Joint Budget Committee. He also serves on the House Revenue and Taxation Committee, the Joint Committee on Public Retirement & Social Security Programs, and the House City, County & Local Affairs Committee.
Rep. Hodges was raised in Blytheville, AR where he graduated from Blytheville High School. He attended Arkansas Northeastern College and later Arkansas State University where he was a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and earned his B.S. in business administration, economics, and Finance. He was previously named Outstanding Citizen of the Year by the Blytheville Chamber of Commerce and Outstanding Alumni by Arkansas Northeastern College. He and his wife, Rhonda, attend Wellspring Church Assembly of God and have one child together. |
