Rep. Fred Allen is serving his fifth term in the Arkansas House. He represents District 30 which includes a portion of Pulaski County. For the 92nd General Assembly, Rep. Allen serves on the Joint Energy Committee, the House Education Committee, the House Insurance & Commerce Committee, and the House Management Committee. Rep. Allen graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Business Administration. He supported his alma mater by serving on the University's Alumni Board. After graduating from college, Mr. Allen pursued his interest in politics by serving as an Administrative Aide to then U.S. Senator David Pryor. Upon leaving the Senator's office, Mr. Allen worked for the Governor of Arkansas, as a Senior Executive Assistant. Mr. Allen has worked as a Parole Commissioner with the Arkansas State Post Prison Transfer Board. He also served as a Planning Commissioner with the City of Little Rock. |
