Lisa Cutter represents House District 25, which includes much of unincorporated Jefferson County. She is a first time representative coming into the largest new member Democratic class ever. She sits on the Education Committee and the Public Health Care and Human Services Committee.
After years of working in the public relations and communications industry, representing groups ranging from the potato board to Johnston Wells Public Relations, Rep. Cutter started her own business. She launched an award-winning consulting firm, Cutter Communications, in 1998 so she could continue pursuing a career in strategic communications.
She's led and served on a number of nonprofit boards, including The Women's Bean Project. She also provided strategic PR and media relations for the Women's March in 2017 and is one of the core group continuing the efforts forward (including an anniversary march) as March On Colorado.
She has also remained involved throughout her children's school years in PTA and accountability committees, with their sports teams, Girl Scouts, and as a classroom volunteer. |
