Senator Josh McLaurin was elected to the Georgia Senate in 2022 and serves Georgia's 14th Senate District, which is located entirely in north Fulton County and includes portions of Sandy Springs, Roswell, Johns Creek, Atlanta, and Alpharetta. Previously, he served in the Georgia House of Representatives for four years. Sen. McLaurin grew up in Cobb County, is a Double-Dawg graduate of UGA, and received his law degree from Yale. His law practice has focused primarily on business litigation and aviation law. He serves as a member of the Senate committees on Economic Development and Tourism; Retirement; Transportation; and Veterans, Military, and Homeland Security. Sen. McLaurin is committed to ensuring North Fulton remains a great place to live, work, play, and raise a family.
