State Rep. Brad Paquette was first elected to serve in the Michigan House of Representatives in November 2018. He represents the people of the new 37th House District, which encompasses the Berrien County townships of Galien, Weesaw, Baroda, Royalton, Sodus, Oronoko, Buchanan, Bertrand, Niles, Berrien and Pipestone, and cities of Niles and Buchanan, and the Cass County townships of Silver Creek, Pokagon, Howard, Milton and Wayne, as well as the city of Dowagiac.
Education
Paquette earned his Bachelor of Arts from Northern Michigan University in political science and pre-law in 2009, and then his master's in the art of teaching from Andrews University in 2012.
Professional Public Office Affiliations
Brad worked as an educator, teaching at Niles New Tech Entrepreneurial Academy, where he has led in Project-Based Learning for the New Tech Network. He also served on the Planning Commission for the city of Niles.

Brad lives in Niles with his wife, Sydney, and their firstborn son who they welcomed into the world last year. |
