Dean Proctor has made an enduring impact on our community - running a successful family business, creating jobs, and helping others.
He chaired the Hickory Baseball Fundraising Committee that built L.P. Franz Stadium to house the Hickory Crawdads, chaired the Catawba County Economic Development Commission, and he volunteers with the NRA and many other important organizations in the community.
Dean married his high school sweetheart, the late Brenda Bowman Proctor. He and Brenda raised their two daughters in Hickory.
Dean is very active in the lives of his five grandchildren, teaching them about humility, hard work, and hunting.
Dean is a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Hickory. |
