Mr. McKeon was elected to the Senate in November 2023. He previously served in the Assembly, representing the 27th District from 2002-2024. He was Parliamentarian from 2022-2024, Deputy Speaker from 2010-2011, Majority Whip from 2008-2009, Assistant Majority Leader from 2006-2007, and Assistant Majority Whip from 2004-2005.
The senator was raised in West Orange, where he served as its mayor from 1998-2010 and on the Municipal Council from 1992-1998.
Senator McKeon is a senior partner at Hardin, Kundia, McKeon, Poletto and Polifroni, a law firm located in Springfield Township. He previously worked as a legislative counsel to Senator Richard Codey and counsel to the West Orange Board of Adjustment.
He earned a bachelor's degree in history from Muhlenberg College and was later awarded a juris doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law.
His wife, Ann Mader McKeon, is an attorney at the same firm. They have three daughters, Lacey Ann, Melissa, and Jaclyn. |
