| Recently I posted on my Facebook page, how happy I was, because ever since I got to this country, 20 years ago I never had health insurance, and I had to wait 20 years to obtain a benefit from any politician, because they all promise, but never deliver. Every 2 years they come around knocking on our doors, offering us the sky, but after the elections are over, we never see them again, until they do the opposite of what they promised, in the past years they all say, no more taxes, and every year the first thing they do is raised taxes. They have raised the taxes on homes, and also on the old Junkers (cars) that we didn't pay taxes on before. Meanwhile, unemployment grows, and more companies are leaving the state, because of the abuse from the state with high taxes, our life style goes down the gutter, and those politicians that came knocking on our doors, now don't hear our pleas. Those politicians don't seem to care how many families lose their homes, because all they care about is themselves, their lifestyle and their appearances, the only thing they care about is their political position, as a representative, mayor, or any other position they have gotten by lying and deceiving our voters. I thought to myself, I don't want to wait another 20 years for someone to do something for me, and I don't want you to have to wait 20 years as I did to have someone do something for you. That is why that is why I have decided to run for representative of our district, because is time for a change. It is time that you have someone to represent you, and fight for your interest, and not their personal gain. I want to work for you, and your family, to bring more jobs to the state, to stop the foreclosures, to have new afterschool programs for our kids, and teens, and to better our city and state. I also want to bring back a sense of pride, and moral family values, also to do away with taxes, or less of what we pay now. By voting for me you will be bringing in new blood, and a new charisma, that will work for you, and what you believe in. By voting for me you will have someone representing you with pride and dignity. I believe that with god's help, your vote and your support, we will reach our goals to bring prosperity to our families, and hopes to our children's. We will fight, so things don't go from bad to worse, and that tomorrow we won't have to live in fear for the worse. |
