Today is much quieter here in the halls of the Gold Dome. The Senate has passed the 2015 budget. The tracking document has not been posted as of this afternoon.  I will forward to you as soon as it is available.  

HB 897 known as the Title 20 bill had a hearing only in Senate Education Committee this afternoon.  The Senate Chairman Lindsey Tippins is asking for email comments on the bill. (lindsey.tippins@senate.ga.gov)  GSSA will be responding to the request. There seems still seems to be some pandering to the Charter interests on the issue of facilities and some funding timeline requirments and LFMS. The author/sponsor Rep. Mike Dudgeon says he is willing to look at some of these issues.  We will see as we send in our comments to Senator Tippens.

Tomorrow should be a light day as far as bills on the floor of either chamber.  The day begins at 9am.
