A tip of the cap to Dr. Maggie Shook Superintendent of the Thomaston-Upson School System for she was selected as the 2014 Bill Barr Award winner.  She displays the propensity to provide assitance to fellow superintendents in a very low key manner.  She is admired for her willingness to mentor and coach her fellow colleagues.  In keeping with her professional demeanor, Dr. Shook was truly surprised by this recognition she received recently at our 2014 Fall Boostrap conference. Congratulations to Dr. Shook and her school system.
