Agromedicine experts from around the country descended on the Research Triangle on March 27 to discuss issues facing agricultural industry workers and their families. The 2019 North Carolina Agricultural Health and Safety Symposium – hosted by the North Carolina Agromedicine Institute (NCAI) at the N.C. Biotechnology Center in Durham – featured discussions on topics ranging from overviews of agricultural medicine and food safety to zoonotic diseases and health issues of farmers, farm workers, fishermen and their families.
