Bio

Martin Momtahan is a successful businessman in Paulding County with over 30 employees at West Metro Driving School, which he has operated for the last 16 years. A graduate of Paulding County High School and Kennesaw State University, he has grown his business and family locally.

At the age of 18, Martin's life changed forever. It was the year he learned that through the grace of God a sinner like himself could be born again by giving his heart to, and placing his faith in, Jesus Christ. It wasn't until he truly understood the sacrifice our Lord Jesus Christ made for everyone that he could be truly saved by his grace. That year he was baptised, joined the church and met the woman who would become his wife and mother of his two children, Stephanie. They have been married for 15 years. His parents have also lived in District 17 for the last 24 years.

Martin has been active in the community throughout his business and personal life, participating and donating annually in events that benefit local schools, the Paulding Education Foundation, Paulding Public Safety Appreciation Foundation and the Dallas Christmas Parade that supports local community initiatives and food banks.

As a staunch conservative operating a business in a heavily regulated industry, Martin has had to overcome the bureaucratic obstacles that prevent many businesses from getting off of the ground. His love for Paulding County, his experiences as a small business owner, and his growing family are what drive him to make Paulding County a place where success, and the American Dream, can become possible for everyone.
