Bio

Occupation Party Democrat Leadership Position Assistant Majority Leader In 2022, Faith Winter was re-elected to the Senate to represent Colorado's 25th District, which includes Broomfield and parts of Westminster and Northglenn. Senator Winter currently serves as Assistant Majority Leader, Chair of the Transportation & Energy Committee, and as a member of the Local Government & Housing Committee.

Senator Winter previously served in the Colorado House of Representatives and on the Westminster City Council where she supported bills that would improve the lives of students, mothers, and families. Senator Winter also brings great leadership experience from her time prior to serving as an elected official. She is an organizer at heart who served as a high-level Director for Enviro Citizen, The White House Project, Emerge Colorado, Colorado Conservation Voters, and VoteRunLead. Senator Winter is a strong proponent of environmental protection and holds a bachelor's degree in environmental management and biology from the University of the Redlands. She lives with her two children, Tobin and Sienna as well as her dogs Queso, Waffles, and Olive. She loves to hike.
