BioAmy Nielsen is the former mayor of North Liberty and is now serving as State Representative in House District 85 which encompasses western and southern Johnson County, including the cities of North Liberty, Solon, and parts of Coralville and Iowa City. She is an Assistant Leader for the House Democrats.
Amy is the ranking member of the State Government committee and serves on the Commerce, Ways and Means, Local Government, and the Administration and Rules Committees, and is a member of the Administrative Rules Review Committee.
