BioJennifer Wortz's story is deeply intertwined with Michigan. She grew up in Hillsdale County, the daughter of Gary and Bonnie Leininger. In 2000 she married Nathan Wortz and graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in agriculture. She and Nate have lived in Branch County the past twenty years and have raised four children.
Jennifer served as a high school Agriscience teacher, homeschool educator, and is a partner in a family-owned agricultural business. Her involvement in community service and her role as the Branch County Conservation District Manager reflect her dedication to sustainable farming and environmental stewardship.
Jennifer's extensive experience in education, agriculture, and community involvement positions her as a knowledgeable and passionate advocate for Michigan's rural communities and families.
