Professional and Community Involvement
After graduating from Henry Ford II High School, Jaime turned down a full-tuition scholarship at Central Michigan University and answered the call to serve by enlisting in the U.S. Navy. As a Navy cryptologist, Jaime was responsible for ensuring the security of military communications.
After the Navy, Jaime worked in a number of positions that utilized the technical skills she learned in the military, including working as a Network Administrator for a Christian school and church and a Technical Director for Faith Lutheran Church.
After moving to Richmond, Jaime was appointed to volunteer board positions on the Richmond Parks and Recreation Board as well as the Economic Development Corporation.
At the same time, Jaime's love for her fellow veterans motivated her to work as a Veterans Counselor, where she was able to help connect her fellow patriots with the services they needed while transitioning to civilian life.
In 2011, Jaime Greene again answered the call to serve and was elected to the Richmond City Council. During her time on City Council, Jaime and her fellow council members worked together to have clean audits and balanced budgets, all while funding major infrastructure projects (including road, water, and sewer projects) without raising taxes.
While serving on the Richmond City Council, Jaime also worked as a regional Support Representative for Classical Conversations homeschooling program, where she was responsible for contracting and training community directors as well as equipping parents for their own homeschool journey.
