As a community member and a leader, I've forged deep and authentic partnerships across our district. Professionally, I've served as Executive Director of Clean River Partners, an environmental non-profit organization focused on the Cannon River watershed and worked there for eight years. I have also been a leader within grassroots organizations working to put people at the center of our democracy, groups like the Land Stewardship Project, ISAIAH MN, and TakeAction MN. During my first term in the state legislature, I've been proud to allocate millions of dollars to protect and improve our environment, natural resources, and local farmers. In 2024 the Minnesota House implemented numerous initiatives to address the serious issue of nitrate in the drinking water for southeast Minnesotans which I made sure to put front and center this year, I've been proud to advocate for a people-centered healthcare system, allocate additional funding for housing infrastructure in greater Minnesota, and support our school districts as they implement the READ Act legislation we passed in 2023.
