BioRep. Chris Dinkins, a Republican, represents the counties of Wayne, Shannon, Madison, Reynolds, Iron, Washington, and Bollinger (District 144) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to her first term in a special election in February of 2018.
In addition to her legislative duties, Rep. Dinkins is a former public school teacher. She and her husband are small business owners in Reynolds County where they own and operate a resort on the Black River. Prior to her election, Rep. Dinkins served as a legislative assistant in the House of Representatives for Representatives Jim Neely and Paul Fitzwater.
Rep. Dinkins is a graduate of Clearwater R-1 High School. She received an Associate's degree from Mineral Area College and attended Southeast Missouri University and Central Methodist University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts and her Master of Education from Webster University.
Born in Piedmont, Missouri, Rep. Dinkins resides in Lesterville with her husband Dave Dinkins. They are members of Happy Zion General Baptist Church of Annapolis, have two children, Joshua (Blair) Dinkins, and Brett Dinkins, and are proud grandparents to Greyson, Asher, and Caroline Dinkins.
