Born Elgin, Illinois, February 12, 1954; married; 2 children, 1 grandchild.

Graduate Milton High School 1972; BS in Agricultural Economics, University of Wisconsin-Madison 1977; attended master's program University of Wisconsin- Whitewater School of Business Finance 1998; graduate of University of Wisconsin Extension Leadership Wisconsin.

Occupation- Farmer; farm consultant; school bus driver. Former sales and marketing for Monsanto and Ralston Purina (agricultural).

Member- Delta Theta Sigma Educational Foundation (cofounder and former president); Jefferson County Soil Builders; St. Luke's Church.

Elected to Fort Atkinson School Board (president, vice president, treasurer, clerk) 1998-2014. Elected to Assembly 2022.
