Bio

Paul Tittl (incumbent) State Rep. Paul Tittl Political affiliation- Republican Age- 56 Political experience- Elected to the Assembly in 2012. Previously served on the Manitowoc City Council (2004-2008) and the Manitowoc County Board of Supervisors (2006-2013). Was the chairman of the Manitowoc County Board from 2010 to 2012.

Professional/work experience and education- Graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School in 1980. Owner of the Vacuum and Sewing Center in Manitowoc.

My parents, grandparents and my own family all grew up and went to school in Manitowoc. Manitowoc has been our home for more than 100 years. I am married to my wife, Julie, and have two adult children, Jesse and Heidi. We also have three grandchildren, Roman, Grant and Brock. In the 1980s, I lived in West Bend for about two years before coming back to my hometown in 1987 to open my business.

For the past 14 years, I have dedicated myself to public service. From serving on the Manitowoc City Council to my time on the Manitowoc County Board of Supervisors, I have an understanding of our community's local needs. During my years of service, I have had the privilege of collaborating with community members and individuals at all levels of government. This experience, coupled with my dedication to listening to my constituents and turning their ideas into meaningful legislation, pushes me to run for office.

I have been a member of this community for virtually my entire life, graduating from a local high school and opening my own small business right here in Manitowoc. I believe the 25th Assembly District is a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family. That is why I have been taking our community values down to Madison since 2012. During my tenure, I have seen our state make incredible progress, turning away from debt and deficits and making great economic strides, even achieving surpluses that we have returned to the taxpayers. While we have accomplished a lot, there is still work to be done.
