Bio

Representative Ryan A. Rose serves as the elected representative for Arkansas's 48th District, which encompasses Van Buren and Fort Smith. Known for his dedication to serving his community, Rep. Rose brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to his role in the Arkansas House.

Rep. Rose serves as the Vice-Chair of the House Labor & Environment Subcommittee and House Utilities Subcommittee, and as a member of the Joint Budget, House Insurance & Commerce, and the House Public Health, Welfare & Labor Committees. He offers informed and original perspectives on legislative matters.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Rose is deeply involved in various aspects of community life. As the Director of Development at Union Christian Academy, he plays a crucial role in shaping the future of Christian education in the Arkansas River Valley. Beyond his professional endeavors, Rep. Rose has been a pastor in the River Valley for over 15 years, a youth basketball coach, and serves as a board member of the Heart to Heart Pregnancy and Family Care Center. He is also an award-winning small business owner, operating Rose Auto Sales, based in Van Buren.

Rep. Rose's passion for public service extends beyond his legislative role. He is actively involved in several community organizations, including the Van Buren Chamber of Commerce and the Crawford County GOP. He is also a member of the National Rifle Association and Gun Owners of America.

Rep. Rose's journey to public service began with his education at the University of the Ozarks, where he graduated with honors and received a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. He later taught as an Adjunct Professor and Technical Advisor of Communications at the university. As an ordained minister with the General Council of the Assemblies of God, Rep. Rose says he draws upon his faith and values to guide his work as a legislator and community leader.

Rep. Rose and his wife, Tiffany, are proud parents to three children and are deeply committed to making a positive impact in their community.
