Bio

LaVon Bracy Davis is an attorney, arts administrator, advocate, and cultural programmer. She resides in Ocoee, Florida, and was born in Rochester, NY. LaVon moved to Florida in 1990. She is the sister of Senator Randolph Bracy III. She completed her high school education at Dr. Phillips High School and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Howard University. She later obtained her Juris Doctor (JD) from Florida A&M University, College of Law.

LaVon is married to Adrian R. Davis and enjoys a variety of recreational interests, including arts and culture, baking, crafting, traveling, and volunteering. Her religious affiliation is Christian.

She was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2022 and was reelected subsequently. LaVon has a strong record of public service, having served as a past chair and member of the Florida Council on Arts and Culture. She has been involved with various affiliations, including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the Awesome Foundation (as Trustee), Bethel Independent Free Methodist Church in Mount Dora, FL, and the Orange County Branch NAACP. She has also served on the Board of Directors of the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies and the Nominating Committee. Additionally, she is a member of The Florida Bar.

LaVon's contributions to the community have earned her the Orlando Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award.
