BioPaula A. Stark resides in St. Cloud and works as a newspaper publisher and executive director. She was born on April 11, 1957, in Dothan, Alabama, and is the mother of Nicholas B. Stark and Taylor A. Stark. She attended Osceola High School and Florida Technical University.
Elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2022, she is also actively involved in various organizations. Her affiliations include the City of St. Cloud Economic Advisory Council, City of St. Cloud Historic Preservation Board, Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce, Osceola Center for the Arts, Osceola County YMCA, Senior Little League, St. Cloud Business Group, St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce, St. Cloud Economic Stimulus Grant Committee, and St. Cloud Main Street.
Her achievements include being recognized by Orlando Magazine as one of the Women of the Year in 2023 and receiving the President's Award from St. Cloud Main Street in the same year. She has earned eight John S. Grant Advertising Marketing Awards from Sun Media (Toronto, Canada) and was named Florida Press Association Account Executive of the Month in 2001. Additionally, she was honored as St. Cloud Rotary Business Person of the Year in 1999 and received the Employee of the Year award in 1993.
