Kimberly Berfield, a resident of Clearwater, is a business executive with a strong background in public service. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from Northeastern University.

Born in Houston, Texas, she moved to Florida in 1972. Public service runs in her family, as both her parents, Jim and Sue Berfield, served as Clearwater City Commissioners. She is of the Baptist faith.

Berfield was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2022, having previously served from 2000 to 2006. She also worked as Deputy Secretary of the Florida Department of Health from 2006 to 2012.

She has been actively involved in numerous organizations, including the American Heart Association's Circle of Red, the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, the Clearwater Historical Society, and the Rotary Club of Clearwater-East.

Her work has earned her several accolades, including the Gulf Coast Business Review's "40 Under 40" Recognition, the Champion of Business Award from the Associated Industries of Florida, and the Representative of the Year Award from the Florida Insurance Council.

In her free time, she enjoys the arts, reading, traveling, and cheering for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the University of Central Florida football teams.
