Bio

Traci Koster, a resident of Tampa, is a marital and family law attorney. Born on June 15, 1985, in Greensboro, North Carolina, she moved to Florida in 1988. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida and later obtained her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law (2007-2009).

She is the mother of Colton and Sadie. A Christian, she enjoys spending her free time at the beach, boating, reading, and being with family.

Koster was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2020 and has been reelected subsequently.

Her affiliations include serving as a pro bono volunteer for Crossroads for Florida Kids, co-founding and co-chairing Tampa Bay Pro Bono Partners, and serving as President of the Hillsborough County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (2019-2020). She was also a mentor for the Hillsborough Education Foundation from 2017 to 2020.

She has received several accolades, including the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division's Most Productive Young Lawyer Award (2019) and the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit's Outstanding Pro Bono Service by a Young Lawyer Award (2015).
