BioDan Daley, a committed public servant and legal professional, resides in Coral Springs, Florida. Born on February 16 in Huntington, New York, he relocated to Florida in 1996. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Criminology from Florida State University in 2010 before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad Law Center.
Daley was elected to the Florida House of Representatives on June 18, 2019, and has been reelected since. Prior to his legislative role, he served as a Coral Springs City Commissioner and Vice Mayor from 2012 to 2019.
Beyond his legislative duties, he is actively involved in various organizations. He serves as President of the Broward League of Cities, chairs the Florida League of Cities Urban Administration Policy Committee, and sits on the Florida League of Cities Executive Committee. His contributions extend to the Broward Days Board of Directors and the Coral Springs Community Chest as an honorary board member. He has also been a past member of the Coral Springs Economic Development Advisory Committee, the Coral Springs Martin Luther King Jr. Committee, and the Coral Springs Neighborhood Environmental Committee.
Daley's dedication to public service has earned him several accolades, including the Florida League of Cities Defender of Home Rule Award, the Legislative Appreciation Award, and recognition as a Home Rule Hero from 2014 to 2018. He has also received the Florida National Guard Charles Maddox Patriotism Award, the Gold Coast Builder's Association Distinguished Service Award, and the Stand with Parkland School Safety Champion recognition.
An outdoor enthusiast, Daley enjoys hiking, horseback riding, and scuba diving in his free time.
