Bio

Felicia Simone Robinson, an educator and dedicated public servant, has been a member of the Florida House of Representatives since 2020, winning reelection in subsequent terms. Born on November 4, 1970, in Miami Gardens, Florida, she graduated from North Miami Beach Senior High in 1988 before earning a BS in Mathematics from Tuskegee University in 1994. She later pursued an MS in Math Education from the University of Miami in 2005 and an EdS in Educational Leadership from Barry University in 2013.

A lifelong resident of Miami Gardens and a devoted Seventh-day Adventist, Robinson enjoys cooking, event planning, jet ski boating, and traveling. Her commitment to public service began at the local level, where she served as a Councilwoman for the City of Miami Gardens from 2010 to 2018 and as Vice Mayor from 2014 to 2016.

Robinson is actively involved in numerous organizations, serving as Board Chair of the Center for Family & Child Enrichment, Inc., and holding membership in the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (Dade County Alumnae Chapter), The National Council of Negro Women, Inc., and the Live Healthy Miami Gardens Host Council. She has also been a board member of the TLF Foundation, the South Florida Youth Symphony, and the Miami-Dade County League of Cities (2010-2018), as well as a board member of the Florida League of Cities (2017-2018).

Her leadership and contributions to the community have earned her several prestigious accolades, including Legacy South Florida Magazine's Most Powerful and Influential Black Professional in Business and Industry Award (2015) and the Top Hat Salute to Women of Distinction Award (2015).
