Bio

Get to know Morgan! A dog lover who you can often catch enjoying a delicious snack at York , Morgan has the community connections, experience, and knowledge to advocate for residents of Ann Arbor, Pittsfield TWP, Saline, Scio TWP, York TWP, Lodi TWP, and Bridgewater TWP! Morgan is a passionate and caring public servant who has spent decades in Washtenaw County listening to us and advocating for us. She was born and raised in southeast Michigan, where she was raised by her grandparents, both of whom were UAW members.

Morgan has an extensive and successful career working for and with the people of Washtenaw County. When Felicia Brabec was elected our State Representative in 2020, she immediately tapped Morgan to join her in Lansing as her Constituent Services Director. In that role, Morgan helped solve problems, fought for progressive public policy, and listened to the voters' concerns - and, in the process, learned firsthand how the legislature operates. Morgan's experience will allow her to hit the ground running working for us as our next State Representative.

Morgan is also active in our local community having served on the Washtenaw County Brownfield Development Board. Morgan has been a member of the Washtenaw County Democratic Party County Committee since 2020, previously served as treasurer of Washtenaw County Democratic Party Black Caucus, and served as an elected precinct delegate in Washtenaw County.

Morgan graduated from the Michigan Educational Policy Fellowship Program in 2022 and, just three years later, graduated from the Michigan Political Leadership Program (MPLP). In 2019, she was named a NEW Leader of Color Fellow and.

Morgan and her husband live in Pittsfield Township with their dog, Rosie.
